  ambulance

PROCEDURE

PHONE
Phone Montreal or Toronto offices for most current prices and vehicles required.

ASK
Ask for brochures and photos of the different type of vehicles.

SEE
If in Montreal or Toronto, the potential buyer can actually get to see the type of ambulance that will be sent (or a close facsimile).

CONTRACT
A contract is drawn up to confirm the purchase price, delivery date in Canada and approximate arrival date in Israel.

LETTERING
Family/donor is asked to provide the wording on both ambulance doors. Suggestions are offered by the offices.

DEDICATON
Once the ambulance is ready, an ambulance dedication is held in either Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa or cities close to these three principal cities.

PHOTOGRAPHS
At the dedication, whether at a synagogue, home of the donor or other locale, a photographer, provided by CMDA takes pictures of the family and friends in and around the ambulance.

ALBUM & PLAQUE
Later an album or the photos is presented to the family. At the dedication a plaque is presented to the donor/family as well.

REFRESHMENTS
The family usually provides the refreshments at the dedication.
